Robert Tyler's Nursery

It's finally done!  I've had so much fun decorating Baby Robert's nursery!  Jack has been a wonderful help.  He painted, moved furniture around and did lots and lots of hanging.

I'd like to thank everyone who gave such beautiful gifts to help make his room perfect.  A special thank you goes out to Aunt Becca for hunting down the most adorable plaid fabric.  We also had lots of help from my parents with paint touch ups, switching out outlets and organizing baby clothes and from Jack's mom with figuring out the tricky crib skirt.

We decided on a train theme and are so thrilled with how it turned out!  (We also have a sort of secondary elephant theme)  I always thought that if I ever had a little boy I would do a train themed nursery.   For me, trains are a symbol of family, love and comfort.  The soothing sounds of a roaring train always seem to warm my heart.  I grew up being able to hear a train from my house, my Nana Koller loved to sit and listen to the sounds of a train, and my Papa Haack worked on the LIRR for many years.  Jack and I can even hear the comforting sounds of the train from our home.

I hope Robert Tyler will feel safe and loved in this beautiful nursery, created just for him!

Mommy and Daddy love you, Robert!  We are anxiously awaiting your arrival and can't wait to see your sweet face and give you kisses and cuddles!
