This month we had our first visit to the dentist. After Robert's big fall at the playground last month I noticed his front tooth looked discolored. The dentist said he probably damaged the nerve and it would likely be fine and get most of the normal color back over time. I was really nervous to take him to the dentist because brushing teeth at our house isn't the easiest thing. But we talked about it a lot and read some books about the dentist and watched the Peppa Pig Goes to the Dentist episode and he really did so great! He wore special sunglasses for the bright light and opened his mouth and said 'ahhhhh' and let the dentist look at his tooth and count all of his teeth. What a big, brave boy! Mommy was so proud! He was rewarded with a coin that he used to get a special treat out of the toy machine. He picked a crab that grows in water. Our next appointment is in August for his first cleaning. Fingers crossed it goes just as well!
