Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year!  It was so much fun to watch Robert enjoy the season.  He loved the Christmas tree (especially pulling pretty ornaments off of it), looking at Christmas lights and listening to Christmas music.  We showed him pictures of Santa Claus and read lots of great Christmas books too.  When we would ask him what Santa Claus says he would reply, "Ho Ho Ho".   Simply adorable!  Of course he was so excited to get some new, fun toys too.  He wasn't very interested in unwrapping presents but he was always thrilled to see what was inside.  But he probably loved spending time with his family the most.  Grammy and Grampy came from Florida and we are lucky enough to have family in town that we got to enjoy the holiday with too.

CHRISTMAS DAY

Merry Christmas, little one!

Late Christmas morning, we went over to Minde and James' house to spend some time with them, Caroline, Wilson and Mimi.  We had so much fun opening presents and playing and we also had a delicious brunch!  We were missing Becca, Tyler and the girls but we are so excited to see them in a couple weeks.

Thanks Mimi for my new toys!  I think the big hit was his remote control car.  So fun!
Laughing and having fun with Uncle James and Duncan

When we got home Beau went down for a much needed nap and then Grammy, Grampy, Aunt Kristie and Mimi came over for a fun evening at home!

New playhouse built by Grampy

This is the before picture…yikes!

I guess he thought the backside of the soccer net looked like a big chair .  He turned around, backed himself up and plopped his little bottom down  : )

This little boy needed to take a rest from all of the fun and excitement.  He snuggled himself into his new best friend, Mr. Gorilla, and watched a Little Einstein show.  So precious!

Helping Grampy clean up.  What a great day!

Oh what fun it is to be one!
