Soccer Shots

We signed Beau up for a soccer shots class.  It was every Saturday at 10:20 for 9 weeks.  He really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun!  He learned to kick the ball, balance one foot on the ball, knock down cones by kicking the ball, and kick a ball into the net.  He also had fun climbing the trees, picking the grass and collecting sticks while he should have been listening to Coach Joe.  Ha! But it was a great start to learning how to listen and cooperate during an organized activity. His favorite part was when everyone would chant each child's name while they scored a goal into the net!  Aunt Kristie and Mimi were able to come watch most Saturdays and he was so proud and excited every time they were there.

July 2016

Of course the highlight of July was Griffin's birth, but we had a great couple of weeks before he arrived.  Grammy and Grampy were here helping and having fun while they waited for a baby to arrive.

The three of us went to the July 4th parade in Farragut.  Beau loved seeing the helicopters flying above, all of the cool cars and trucks, the bands and the fire trucks.  I think his favorite part was eating popsicles!

Splash pad fun with Grampy

We also took a trip to the Oakridge Children's museum with Grammy and Grampy.  We had never been before and it was on my list of things to do with Beau before Griffin arrived.  It was a great, little museum with lots of fun exhibits!  Beau really enjoyed himself.

Spaghetti!  One of his favorites

Doing push ups with Grampy

We stopped by a friend's house one Saturday after soccer and he had his big tractor out.  Beau went absolutely crazy  for it and was so excited to take a ride with Porter!

Grammy and Mimi took Robert to the downtown library for a special "Meet Daniel the Tiger" event.  They got to see Daniel and take a ride on the trolley.  It was hot and crowded but I think he had fun!

Grammy and Grampy also took Robert to the Chattanooga Aquarium!  He is loving fish and sea life right now so he was so excited to go and really enjoyed himself.  He loved the sharks and was also really excited to see the puffer fish.  Thanks for a super fun day, Grammy and Grampy!
