In August Robert started 2 days of pre-school on Mondays and Wednesdays, 9-1:30, at Central Baptist Bearden. Even though he turns 3 September 6th, because of the schools age cut off he was placed in the older 2 year old class called the Foxes. We had been talking to him about starting school for a few months before, and he was so excited to go! He picked out a shark backpack and lunch bag and a monster truck shirt to wear on his first day. We went on Tuesday night to meet his teachers and see his classroom and then the next day was his first day. It was a really special day filled with mixed emotions for everyone. Beau did really great at drop off and didn't shed a single tear! The same can't be said for Mommy though. He was so excited to get into his classroom and see what his teachers had planned for him. When I picked him up in the afternoon his teachers gave him a great report for the day and he kept saying, "I had a great day at school, Mommy!" We are so proud of you, Robert!
